I grew up here. I went to school here. I had my first job here. And I'm running for Mornington because this community has been let down for too long, and I intend to do something about it.
This Peninsula isn't a seat on a map to me. It's home. It's where I made my first friends, and where I learned what community actually means.
"I will not provide confidence, supply, or support for any legislation to any government, unless that government commits to fully funding one of our Peninsula Promises."
Full funding. One promise. Every time.
From the cliffs of Mount Martha to the sands of Mornington, this Peninsula's beauty is why we're all here, and why it deserves a voice fighting to keep it that way.
Uncompromised. Fully committed. To you.
I went to Kunyung and Mount Eliza Primary Schools. I grew up in Koornalla Crescent, Mount Eliza. My first job was pushing trolleys at Safeway in Mornington. I celebrated my 18th birthday on Main Street. I played tennis at Mount Eliza Tennis Club and football on the pitches at Mount Martha and Mornington Soccer Clubs.
This Peninsula isn't a seat on a map to me. It's home. And it's precisely because I love this place so much that I am so angry about what hasn't been done for it.
"This community deserves a voice in Spring Street that belongs to it completely. Not to a party. Not to a donor. Not to a faction or a focus group."
Over 30 years delivering national and enterprise-level programs across major industries, leading complex transformation initiatives spanning digital infrastructure, technology and community-focused programs, consistently on time and within budget.
He is known for genuine emotional intelligence and a motivational leadership style: three decades spent listening carefully to stakeholders, managing competing interests with integrity, and finding solutions to problems others considered too hard.
These priorities come directly from residents, through community forums, doorknocking and conversations across Mornington, Mount Eliza, Mount Martha, Moorooduc and Tuerong. My commitment: I will only back a government's legislation once it fully funds one of them.
Five priorities announced so far, with five more on the way.
This list is a starting point, not the final word. If there's a priority missing that matters to your family or your street, I want to hear it.
The seat of Mornington is decided by full preferential voting. Every box on the green ballot paper must be numbered for your vote to count, so it's worth getting right.
Because I'm not beholden to a party machine, I won't tell you how to fill in the rest of your ballot in exchange for preference deals with donors or party head offices. Number 1 for me, then number the rest in whatever order genuinely reflects your own values.
This page covers the Legislative Assembly seat of Mornington. Voting for the Legislative Council (upper house) works differently, for official, up-to-date voting information visit vec.vic.gov.au.
We can't do this alone. Whether it's a few hours letterboxing, a skill you can lend, or a donation to keep the campaign running, every bit of help brings a genuinely independent voice for the Peninsula closer.
The campaign team will be in touch soon about how you can help.
Have a question, a story to share, or a Peninsula Promise to add? Send a message and the campaign will get back to you.
The campaign will get back to you as soon as possible.
